WCRD Idol Immersive Learning Project

WCRD Ball State University - Spring 2011

 In 2011 at Ball State University, we were given a hypothetical project: to create and propose a campus wide event including all stages of planning and promotion. I headed team of four to pitch an American Idol style competition to four different department heads.
 

The pitch included a checklist and schedule, potential sponsors, staffing, venue selection, and promotional schedule and collateral including print, digital, and radio. Against 7+ other teams, our pitch chosen.

We later found out they wanted to award us a grant to turn our idea into an immersive learning project to be completed the following year involving different classes and carried out at the semester's end.
